In aromatherapy it is known to aid emotional relaxation and is an anti-inflammatory, anti-fungal, astringent, sebum balancer and helper in the renewal of skin tissue.

It is used to help sufferers of dry skin, problematic skin, dermatitis, fungal infections on feet and nails, cracked skin as well as minor cuts, burns and abrasions.

שמן הגרניום נחשב לאנטי-דלקתי, אסטרינג'נט, מאלחש, מרגיע ומאזן הפרשת סבום. משמש לטיפול בעור יבש ומבוגר, עור שמן, עור בעייתי, עור סדוק, כוויות קלות, פצעים וחתכים.
