How it started

"Naturescent Ltd." was established in 1999 by Itay Keinan. His vision was to develop and create 100% natural cosmetics, inspired by desert nature and with no compromise in quality.

For more than a decade now, "Naturescent, Ltd." emphasizes R&D of unique products; technique elaboration; production techniques and even locating & collecting local, Mediterranean and world-wide ingredients.

At "Naturescent, Ltd.", we manufacture under the most stringent standards. Most products have been certified as conforming to international Ecocert  for its organic-natural certification standards.

Most products are 100% natural origin, rare in the international cosmetic industry.

Our factory is licensed by the Israeli Health department and holds necessary export certification.

We, at "Naturescent, Ltd.", specialize in formulating and developing private label cosmetic lines.

In "Naturescent, Ltd.", we manufacture more than 100 different kinds of soaps in 3 different production lines (hand-made and mechanized).

"Years ago, we decided to create a new life for ourselves, building our home at the edge of the unique natural wonder known as the Ramon Crater.

Since then, we have been producing and perfecting products of natural origin, handmade with care by our dedicated staff.

About the entrepreneurs

Itay Keinan – CEO (President and Founder) of "Naturescent" factory and leading director of FARAN Cosmetic development.

Adi Gilon – Director of Mineral Makeup Collection – leading the development and training at "FARAN BEAUTY".

Adi is an Israeli, who lived in Maryland, USA.

As a biotech engineer, Adi’s early focus was on the development of new natural products and processes in the skin-care industry.

In Israel, Adi completed her education as a professional makeup artist so as to better understand the Worldwide and particularly the Israeli women's makeup needs.

"While working together, we decided to re-brand our collection. We wanted to introduce our quality production properly, including using recyclable packaging!
The main purpose of branding was to merge "Naturescent" and "Mineraz" into one united company, under the name "FARAN", that expresses the beauty of nature and the desert, where we live and work and derive our inspiration.
